After a while ; i've learnt.
The difference between
holding a hand
and
chaining a soul.

I began to learn that
kisses aren't contracts
and
presents aren't promises.

Thus,
i began to admit my defeat.
with my head high
and
eyes ahead.

With the grace of a woman
not
the grief of a child.

Building all my roads
on TODAY.
Because,
tomorrow's too uncertain
for plans.

And,
future's got a way
of collasping from mid-air.

Even sunshine burns,
if i get too much.

So,
i decorate my own soul.
Instead of waiting
for someone to bring me flowers.

LASTLY,
i learnt that.
I can endure
im strong
AND.
I DO HAVE WORTH,


with every goodbye
i learn.
